Handicapping on Facebook

TrackMaster, the US provider of electronic handicapping and past performance information, put itself on Facebook, allowing it to interact with fans on a more personal level.

The TrackMaster Free Fan Data application offers fans using Facebook free daily selections from tracks throughout North America for Thoroughbred and harness racing. In addition, a “Thoroughbred Best Bets” report will be available when runners that completely match a pre-defined slate of handicapping criteria are identified.

David Siegel of TrackMaster comments:“Particularly in the last 12 months, the Facebook demographic has grown from its college-age user roots to include users in older age ranges. More and more equine enthusiasts are taking advantage of this social networking site, and we would be remiss in not custom tailoring offerings for racing fans that have engaged and will engage in such use.”

TrackMaster encourages everyone to become a “TrackMaster Fan” by locating its page on Facebook and discovering more about the TrackMaster Free Fan Data application and other content designed for racing fans on Facebook.
