After appeal by a coalition of professional sports organisations, a federal court in Philadelphia has ruled that Delaware racetracks cannot offer betting on individual sports games as it is against federal law.

Despite the ruling, the state believes that parlay bets (on the outcome of a number of games) would still be allowed.
